From Calgary (exactly 60km from Calgary City Limits)
- Take Crowchild Trail towards Cochrane (it becomes the #1A Highway)
- Follow the #1A through Cochrane and continue west (do not turn)
- Drive 13 km past Cochrane
- Turn right (north) on the #40 Highway just past the gas plant
- Follow this scenic route for 26 km
- Bear right when you come to Richard Rd
- Turn right 200 metres before the Forestry Reserve (very well marked)
- Turn right at Gateway Cabin
- You are there!
